The short version
Entry Tag does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Nothing you type or photograph in the app ever leaves your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third‑party SDKs of any kind.
What the app stores, and where
- Your entries and fairs. Everything you type — fair names and dates, departments, classes, lot numbers, class rules in your own words, recipe or pattern notes, judging results, premiums, and judges' comments — is saved in a single file inside the app's own private container on your device.
- Photos. When you attach a photo to an entry or a comment card, using either the system photo picker or the camera, a copy is saved into the app's own Documents folder on your device. Entry Tag never uploads a photo anywhere.
- Settings. Your chosen theme, haptics and sound preferences, reminder timing, and badge progress are stored in iOS's standard UserDefaults storage on your device.
Camera and photo library
Entry Tag asks for camera access only when you choose to photograph an entry or a comment card, and for photo library access only when you choose a picture from your library through Apple's system photo picker. Both are used solely to attach an image to your own records. The app cannot see or access any other photo on your device beyond what you explicitly pick.
Notifications
Entry Tag can remind you of a fair's entry deadline, drop‑off window, or judging day. Notification permission is requested only the first time you turn on a reminder, and every reminder is scheduled and delivered entirely on your device — no server is involved.
No tracking, no third parties
Entry Tag contains no advertising, no analytics frameworks, and no third‑party software development kits. The app makes no network requests, does not track you across apps or websites, and shares no information with anyone, because it collects none to share.
Your control over your data
Everything Entry Tag holds lives only on your device. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Erase everything, or remove it all at once by deleting the app. There is no server copy to request or delete, because none exists.
Children's privacy
Entry Tag is a general‑audience utility for home‑arts exhibitors and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
